What is Fitness on the Run?
Fitness on the Run is a complete exercise program designed specifically for people on the go. It combines both aerobic exercise and strength training into a 30 minute workout using hydraulic resistance machines. By following our program you will strengthen and tone your muscles while burning calories. For most people, the major benefits will be lost pound and inches and a stronger healthier heart.
How does Fitness on the Run excerise program work?
Our program is based on circuit training, using a work-rest-work-rest principle. You will alternate between exercises on hydraulic resistance machines and cardiovascular aerobic workouts. Each exercise lasts 1 minute.
What if I have never exercised before?
Our program is designed for anyone at any fitness level. The hydraulic resistance machines automatically adjust to match your level of effort. The harder / faster you work the more resistance the machine will provide.
Is Fitness on the Run safe for all Ages?
Yes, Because of the design of the hydraulic resistance machines there is no fixed load against the skeletal system. Our program is safe and effective for all ages. Children as young as 11 can become members, with Parents supervision. Children 16-18 years can use the facilities without parental supervision with a waiver from the parents.
What can I expect at Fitness on the Run?
To be greeted by our friendly staff, who are honest and respectful. To be treated as part of our Fitness Family, not just another member. To get personalized attention when you need it. Most of all, the ultimate goal is to make fitness FUN!
